AMIN LABORIEL GOES GLOBAL WITH “WORLDWIRED (REMIX COLLECTIONS)” — A MULTILINGUAL, MULTI-GENRE CELEBRATION OF MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS
The Honduran-born, New York-based singer-songwriter reimagines his catalog through Latin Pop, R&B, Afro-fusion, Reggaetón, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Mariachi and international-language editions

NEW YORK, NY — 2026 — Singer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur Amin Laboriel expands his musical vision worldwide with Amin Laboriel: WorldWired (Remix Collections), an ambitious international project that transforms songs from his catalog through new genres, rhythms, cultures and languages.
Released through Rise To The Top Productions Corp, the WorldWired project represents a new chapter in Laboriel's career: one built around the idea that a song does not have to belong to only one genre, language or country.
The collection moves freely across Latin Pop, R&B, Soul, Reggaetón, Afro-fusion, Afrobeats, Funk, Dance, Hip-Hop, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Mariachi, acoustic music and international pop, giving familiar songs entirely new musical identities.
At the center of the project is Laboriel's signature song “Chocolate Banana Pop It,” now reimagined for audiences around the world.
The WorldWired collection includes editions of the song in Vietnamese, Haitian Creole, Tagalog, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, French, Korean and Russian, alongside Afro-Fusion, Reggaetón/Latin Trap and Funk interpretations.
The project also expands beyond “Chocolate Banana Pop It.”
Songs including “Jueguito De Amor,” “Cuanto Tiempo Más,” “Little Game of Love,” “Ella Quiere Choco Banano” and other selections from Laboriel's catalog are reconstructed through dramatically different musical traditions.
“Jueguito De Amor,” for example, moves between romantic Bachata-R&B, energetic Merengue-Bachata, Salsa and Mariachi interpretations. “Cuanto Tiempo Más” appears through Pop, Acoustic and Mariachi arrangements, while “Ella Quiere Choco Banano” receives Reggaetón, Spanglish and Corrido-Reggaetón Mex treatments.
MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS
WorldWired is built around a simple idea: music can change its clothes without losing its heart.
Rather than approaching remixing solely as a change in tempo or production, Laboriel uses the project to explore what happens when the emotional identity of a song travels between musical cultures.
Latin rhythms meet contemporary R&B. Bachata meets modern production. Mariachi instrumentation meets romantic songwriting. Afro-fusion reshapes familiar melodies. Songs originally associated with English and Spanish audiences are introduced through languages spoken by listeners thousands of miles apart.
The result is a project designed around cultural connection rather than musical boundaries.
For Laboriel, that international outlook is deeply personal.
Born in Honduras and establishing his creative and entrepreneurial career in New York, Laboriel comes from a family whose musical history extends across generations and borders.
His family is associated with an extraordinary musical lineage that includes renowned bassist Abraham Laboriel and drummer Abe Laboriel Jr., known internationally for his work with Paul McCartney. That heritage forms part of the foundation from which Amin is building his own contemporary musical identity.
FROM “CHOCOLATE BANANA POP IT” TO WORLDWIRED
Laboriel first introduced “Chocolate Banana Pop It” and its Spanish counterpart, “Ella Quiere Choco Banano,” to an international audience in 2015.
The original campaign established the energetic, genre-crossing approach that would become increasingly central to his work.
More than a decade later, WorldWired brings that concept full circle.
Instead of simply revisiting the original recording, Laboriel has transformed the song into a vehicle for musical and linguistic experimentation, introducing editions aimed at listeners across Asia, Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Caribbean and beyond.
WorldWired follows Laboriel's 2025 project Take You to My Spot (Deluxe), which further developed his combination of Latin Pop, R&B, romantic songwriting and contemporary production.
Together, the projects document an artist increasingly interested in what happens when music is allowed to travel beyond the categories traditionally assigned to it.
AN ARTIST, ENTREPRENEUR AND INDEPENDENT CREATOR
Laboriel's work extends beyond recording and performing.
He is the founder of Rise To The Top Productions Corp, the independent company behind his music and creative projects. His career reflects a modern independent-artist model in which creative direction, recording, branding, media, technology and entrepreneurship increasingly intersect.
Through WorldWired, Laboriel is positioning that independent vision on an international scale.
The goal is not simply to release different versions of songs.
It is to allow the same musical idea to speak differently to people around the world.
WorldWired is Amin Laboriel's declaration that music does not need a passport.
Different languages. Different rhythms. Different cultures.
One connection.
One world.
One sound.
